Who are you if you’re not with a man/woman?

I have shared this a lot, but I think that it could transform your singleness if you receive what God is saying.

A couple of years ago I had a dream where a close male relationship to me was going to flee the state to try to find happiness. He had been rejected by a woman and felt like it was time to start over somewhere else. Sometimes we think that moving away will make everything better, but you’ve probably heard before, “happiness is an inside job.”

So in this dream, I confronted this man as he was trying to flee, and I tackled him in the middle of a road! Then, I stood over him, pointed in his face and said, “Thus says the LORD, ‘Who is __________ if he’s not with a woman?’”

That was where the dream ended, but that question stayed with me. I confronted him the next day (don’t worry, I didn’t tackle him), and he received this revealing question. Who was he really if he didn’t have a woman in his life?

It’s a good question. I couldn’t help but ask myself the same thing, “Who is Wes Raley if he’s not with a woman?”

The answer to that question will give you clarity about the things that God may be trying to change in you before He brings along your match.
